Just 30 years ago there were only 40 acres of wine grape vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley.   A recent inventory, conducted in the summer of 2015, revealed that today there are over 2,800 acres of vineyard.  Duane Wollmuth, executive director of the Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance, will talk about how important the vineyards are to the Valley’s industry and where the vineyard component is headed.  How many acres can there be in the Valley and where will the growth take place.
