Heritage Research Services is a division of the Fort Walla Walla Museum offering cultural research and consulting services in the Walla Walla Valley and surrounding communities.  Since 2010, we have served a diverse set of clients from federal, state and local agencies to private firms such as local engineering and environmental companies.

Heritage Research Services has successfully completed projects in Southeastern Washington ranging from construction monitoring to survey and excavation. We provide cost effective solutions of the highest professional standards while being time conscious.

As a community-based, community-oriented program, Heritage Research Services’ expertise in the region’s cultural resources has developed strong working relationships with local regulatory agencies and municipal governments in addition to federal/state agencies all while maintaining the museum’s mission—to discover, preserve, and share the heritage of Walla Walla Valley.

Contracting with Heritage Research Services not only means efficient assessments and creative solutions to regulatory compliance but community outreach. We contribute to the museum’s collections and exhibits, provide adult public education with local colleges, universities, and children’s education opportunities with kid’s camps and visits to local public schools.
