Parched Corn Demonstration

Join historian Gary Lentz as he teaches visitors to make primitive snacks! The demonstration will begin by building and starting a fire and using that to parch dried corn. He will also make some company biscuits, similar to hardtack, with a simple mixture of flour, salt, and water. The demo and instruction will begin at 2 pm.
