John Gray, Fur Trader Clerk

  • Fort Walla Walla Museum 755 Northeast Myra Road Walla Walla, WA, 99362 United States (map)

At 2 p.m. on May 26, the Living History troupe presents Gary Lentz, a renowned reenactor, as John Gray, a clerk of the Touchet Valley Fur Company. And he did it with other historians who wanted to immerse themselves in what the famed explorers experienced through their five senses. That meant making a dugout canoe, using tools, weapons, and other items necessary for sustaining life.

Navigate the Touchet River, among other adventures. Lentz is an experienced storyteller guaranteed to mesmerize having presented more than 300 programs to nearly 75,000 people from around the globe.
